Can anyone think of a way of determining the denominator of a fraction? I know that it's easy if the numerator is 1, e.g.
// X is the denominator // F is the fraction/decimal .5→F 1/F→X // X = 2, denominator of 1/2
But if the numerator is NOT one, then I need to use
// X is the denominator // F is the fraction/decimal // N is the numerator .8→F N/F→X // X = 5, denominator of 4/5
But then I need something else to discover the numerator, so I'm stuck in an endless loop. Does anyone have a solution for this?
