Okay, so, I'm creating my first mirage game, and I want to have a custom menu(i can whip one up in 30 seconds in tibasic), so I had a (#define menuy variabledefinedbefore+1). Then I this:
and that set it at 27, where the "New Game" menu selection was.
Then, in the menu getkey loop, I was debugging, and displaying the value of HL using bcall(_disphl). It seems when I do this:
it's displaying the memory location(33,917), instead of what I want(17). How do i change the value of the byte, rather than the place I'm pointing to with HL. Is it possible? Do i need to used the A register or something?
