Starting to learn z80!

Good evening guys, so as of today, I'm starting to learn how to program in z80! I'm using a site for a tutorial, a different TokenIDE made for Raspbian, and my calculator. I coded this "Hello World" program and sent it, and tested it out. Sure enough, of how clumsy and stupid I am, I made a mistake that is so obvious but I didn't see. Crashed. And now there is one problem that shouldn't be harmful, but annoying. My Calculator ID is gone. I still know what it is, but I don't know how to get it back. Any help?

What do you mean your calculator ID is gone? What calc? Did you try resetting the calc?

When you check the about screen in the MEMORY menu, it doesn't show the ID.

But I do remember what it was from an old screenshot [TI-84+]

It is extremely unlikely that you accidentally overwrote the calculator ID. Have you run a program to modify the about screen, or to draw a fake about screen? (Some programs do this to prevent instructors from resetting the calc). I'd suggest taking this to Cemetech, though.

Like I said in my first post, I've written a simple "Hello World" program in z80. It is possible that assembly programs can crash in a certain way to "delete" the product ID.

I mean, I guess it is possible, but it is still extremely unlikely for something like that to happen on accident.

If resetting the calc doesn't work (try just RAM at first, if that doesn't work clear the whole thing), like Zeda/Xeda said I would ask about it on Cemetech, there are a lot more active users there who might be able to help you.
