riddle me this
A prisoner is told "If you tell a lie we will hang you; if you tell the truth we will shoot you." What can he say to save himself?

The answer is simple but let's get into a deep explanation. So if you say a lie they will hang you. Also if you tell the truth they will shoot you. You have to say one thing that isn't a truth or a lie. This is one of those riddles that are tricky unless you are good at solving them or with words. The answer that would work in this situation would be: You will hang me. This is the answer because you aren't lying nor telling the truth. This is because there is nothing telling it that it is a truth or a lie. In an easier to understand format if you were to tell the person this then they kill shoot or hang you because it may be true or it may be a lie. This makes it so that he can't do anything.

Thanks, I felt like I repeated the question to many times, also I felt like you could say something else like a picture frame, or dog. That was the weird part that got me stumped me for a bit. Still, I stuck with the question ad didn't go off.
