I currently have a measly single core in my desktop running Ubuntu, I forgot where I put it but there was a small python script that calculated primes. In a few days I'm upgrading to the Agena 9600 quad-core, I was wondering if timing the script on each CPU would give an accurate comparison of the speeds. The limitation being that either the python interpreter or Ubuntu might limit the scripts use of the CPU. Can anyone give some insight or does anyone know a good program to do this?
Whats a good CPU stress test?
