Click "Site tools" and then "Orphaned pages."

There are quite a few orphaned pages, each on a different optimization subject, but as I looked through, I compared it to the optimizations page.

As far as I know, all of those each also have a section in the optimization page. We have a page for each section, but then we have it all compiled into one page. IDK, but isn't that a little odd? Not to mention they're orphaned, so…

I wanted to know if there was a reason for doing this that I don't know about, before I did anything.

DarkerLine just made a page for each section and then included the page in the main optimization page. I believe he did that because the optimization page is quite long, and it takes a considerable amount of time for the page to load on slower computers.

Yeah, but note the fact that they are orphaned. The only way to get there is to go to orphaned pages and then click on them.

I don't see anything wrong with them being orphaned pages. The forum pages also come up as orphaned pages, but that is what is supposed to happen. The individual optimization pages are part of the large optimization page.
