Heres an idea that might go as far as having a section in the routines page, small quirky animations for nothing more than appeal. Heres one below I thought up, right now I just have it twinkling across a main menu.
randInt(3,59→Y occurs at a random spot
randInt(3,91→X
For(A,1,2 occurs twice so pxlchange can erase what it just changed
Pxl-Change(Y,X center of sparkle
For(θ,1,80 wasting time to keep it visible
End
For(Z,1,3 radius of sparkle
Pxl-Change(Y-Z,X-Z
Pxl-Change(Y-Z,X+Z
Pxl-Change(Y+Z,X-Z
Pxl-Change(Y+Z,X+Z
For(θ,1,80 nother timer
End
End
End
One thing left out is the chance of how often it will run in the getKey loop as everyone would have a different situation. A way to exit the loop prematurely wasnt worth putting in as the animation is only a few seconds and the person would only notice a second or 2 of delay. Edit: Another reason for the absence of a premature exit, if prematurely exited then some pixels might remain opposite of their original state.
With their small size and little use of variables I think simple graffiti can easily bring glamour to the graphscreen. Anyone else have some ideas or animations to add? Possibly enough to form a section for them, dont think I've ever seen anything like this documented.
