If this is way too difficult just tell me outright- or maybe I’m just missing something. Take into account I don’t have much experience:
I want to make the game where there are different “gems” stacked up and you want to switch two adjacent ones to get at least 3 in a row/column. When this happens they get deleted and everything above them falls down in their place and random new ones appear.
First, I would like advice to the easiest -sorry, most efficient- way to make it. I should use the graph screen, right? Then make a random screen. Then…? I have an idea- but help is greatly apprecieated
Difficulties: 1-detecting when there are three or more of the same kind. 2- if it doesn’t make at least 3 in a row/ column, take the move back/prevent it. 3- detect when there are no more possible moves. 4- kind of major here- selecting a gem and the only possibility for second select is an adjacent one
Minor probs: what to use as the “gems”. Text- letters/numbers or something else?
