I'm in desperate need of help. I'm making a text rpg and having a bit of trouble with the actual fighting part of the code. I'll post what I have tomorrow sometime in the morning. Any help is greatly appreciated.

if you want a text rpg fighting system, you can do something similar to pokemon, where you have moves and such.

I know how i want the fight to go butim havinh problems with the actual options. I have:

Repeat getKey
"All the options listed here"
getKey→K
If K=83
randInt(1,4→Q
If Q=1:Then
Clrhome
Disp "YOU ESACAPED!
Pause
Goto ET
Else
Disp "COULD NOT","ESCAPE!
Pause
Goto ET
End
If (K=82) and (L6(6)>0):Then
L6(6)-1→L6(6
L6(2)+50→L6(2
L6(4)+50→L6(4
L6(5)+50→L6(5
Goto ET

Disp "NO POTIONS!

Lbl ET is just the enemy turn. L6 has the character stats. L6(2) is health and L6(4) is magic and L6(5) is stamina. I just get stuck at the menu. Basically im outputing options and storing the key presses into K. Since the repeat has ended it should move on to the next lines of code which should be the options but nothing happens.
