I'm a bit out of my comfort zone with this one, so please excuse any incorrect terminology or phrasing I use. Not to mention my lack of calculator knowledge. Also, I chose to post this in Programmers, and not Mathematics because it is strictly a calculator programming question.
I have a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, and what I would like to do is move the programs to the applications. I understand this is dealing with two different types of memory storage, but I'm pretty confident it can be done (with or without magic).
Why do I want to move my programs to my applications?
For starters, I want one screen to go through for all of the "programs" on my calculator (this is not the main reason).
Secondly, my situation is requiring me to NOT have programs on my calculator (applications are just fine). So what does one do when faced with such adversity? You get around it, of course.
What I've tried:
- Archiving Programs (it made sense to store it on the ROM)
- … and that's about it.
Honestly, there is not much I know of that is possible at this point, but I'm faithful.
**My questions:*
1. Is it possible to access the archive of the calculator (say from a file manager software/program) and edit the applications?
2. Are programs and applications interchangeable on calculators?
Like I said, this is not my wheelhouse so any information, links, resources, suggestions, support, or best wishes I will kindly take. If you need more information, please let me know.
