From the number of times I've heard people complain on the failures of TI-Connect, it makes me wonder if we couldn't do a better job. Does anybody here know enough programming to create a program to allow for interfacing with a calculator?

Unfortunately, I cannot help with this project, but it would be extremely useful if complete and nice to be able to say in response to any TI-Connect problem "Click here and download BasicDevCalcConnect" or whatever we name it.

For that to happen we would have to give instructions on how to set up a cable in order to link the calculator to the computer by creating your own. Or we could illegally rip the copy right code I believe exists on the linking cables provided by TI, and put them in our third-party program. So really, none of those are very possible, and instructions on setting up the creation of a cable requires time and material, and can be very confusing

TI Connect doesn't prove problematic towards me, so its good in my book.
