Yes, I know you can just set a bookmark to bypass that potentially annoying splash page, but this is way more fun, and if you feel like you've had enough of the splash page and are about to set a bookmark to pass it, stop right there! This method will allow you to enter in just tibasicdev.wikidot.com, whether in a bookmark or in the URL bar. And it gets past the splash page for you, with just entering the address listed above. Let's learn how!
First, you need Firefox. Just google firefox and you should find the latest version ready for download. That is, if you don't already have it. If you just downloaded it, install and get used to using it for the rest of your life if you care about bypassing the splash page.
OK, now you need an addon. Go to addons.mozilla.org and find and download Greasemonkey (may take some searching).
Now, once you've restarted Firefox after installing Greasemonkey, go to this place: http://userscripts.org/users/71961 and then click one of the TIBDRedirect scripts I made, depending on which home page you want to redirect to (home or 68k:home). Then click on the big Install This Script button near the top. Once you install it, try going to tibasicdev.wikidot.com and voila! No more splash page for you!
Why make this? I've always been annoyed with the splash page, because I know where I need to go and it's in the way. I had a bookmark, but then I had to reinstall OSX. I didn't feel like making the bookmark again. I thought about the possibility of editing the splash page to only show itself to someone once, or else you're redirected, but then when I saw that would need cookies… I decided that having it be a purely client side affair is easier.
