as some of you may have noticed, I released a new orientation on Pong yesterday. It is vastly better than previous iterations with an opponent size wise, and has the ability to "spin" the ball, which adds a certain twist. I have also added a difficulty setter, so that you can make the game a bit harder for those more Pong attuned. I originally was going to make this as a proof of concept for a pinball game, but got sidetracked and I am now going to restart that project. Questions and comments on algorithms would be much appreciated.

The spin seems to have a problem sometimes. Sometimes, the the AI will hit the ball and it goes horizontal forever.
You could apply a bit of randomness to the spin to fix that.
I know about the AI spin issue, I already noticed that and fixed it. The AI can no longer unintentionally spin the ball, so it doesn't straighten it. That's a good idea though weregoose. I could definitely go for another use of the rand command in my program.
edit: also, sorry if my pics look fake. Their won't be a run indicator because my ti connect screenshot taker only works while the calc is paused, just like multiplayer programs. :-(
