Using getKey to end a loop.

I'm trying to create a program that continues the Fibonacci sequence by one number every time enter is pressed, and will end when mode/quit is pressed. Any suggestions on how the syntax should go?

The getKey page should discuss everything you need to know. Essentially, your code will look like the following:

Repeat K=45
getKey→K
If K=105
Then
FIBONACCI
End
End

---

Hello, I believe this is what you mean:

:1
:Repeat 0
:Disp Ans
:Pause
:Ans+1
:End

The following code will display 1, then wait for Enter to be pressed, press two and wait for Enter to be pressed, and so on.

If you wanted to use getKey to do the same thing:

:1
:Repeat 0
:Disp Ans
:Repeat getkey = 105
:End
:Ans+1
:End

It repeats (="waits") until the getkey number is 105, which is the code for the Enter button I believe.

The optional argument for Pause actually updates Ans…

:0
:Repeat 0
:Pause Ans+1
:End
