On my TI-89 Titanium, I created a simple function (not program) through the built-in program editor tool, and all of the output methods that I've tried, Output and Disp display it on a seperate screen from the math home screen that lists all the calculations you've done. Return doesn't work for this either, Return doesn't show the number and just says done. It's pretty inconvenient and prevents me from using ans. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd greatly appreciate that information shared with me, thanks!

What do you mean when you say Output and Disp show it on a separate screen? Most of us use some variant of the 84 or 83. Those calculators only have two screens, the home screen and the graph screen. For which, Output and Disp always use the homescreen.

I'd like to help more but, I don't have any kind of TI-89, and I haven't been able to set up tiemu. There are some missing .dll files, which I think are related to the GTK+ toolkit tiemu needs to run.

Two tips

1) the Func and EndFunc tokens are unnecessary and even allow the CAS to work with them better if they are gone.
2) Don't use any statement. My function to do log to any base is just as follows

logbase(x,b)
ln(x)/ln(b)
