We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope. |

I use a ti-84 plus, and I'm trying out matrices to make a sort of map, yet... I'm not sure how it's done.

I was attempting to create a port of a homebrew game from a few years back for the Commodore VIC-20, and It runs like a snail through molasses. Can anyone help me? (P.S. I'm trying to get this optimized for ti 83+, so no unsupported commands, but assembly is ok.)

So you know how in CALC mode, if there is an error, the calculator recgonizes it, and returns an error. Is there a way to ckeck the syntax of a string, and do something if the syntax failed.
I mean, so the program isnt breached.
