The LHC has been started, and in weeks, if not months, two photons traveling at close to the speed of light will collide, potentially unlocking the secrets of the universe and how it started.

To all of those who hold steadfast in their beliefs of doomsday, I only have this to say: The LHC has been turned on, and I'm not yet dead (leads to youtube video).
