Source Seekers - TI-83

Posts in the discussion thread "Source Seekers - TI-83" - I got a brilliant idea to create a Dungeon Looter/Collection game, for both the TI-84+ and TI-84+CSE calculators, using the graph screen without color. The screenshots are taken on a TI-84+CSE, and although they sometimes show color, the game doesn't when running it on a TI-83 and up. The gameplay is focused less on combat and more towards collecting "rare artifacts", each map with a progressing difficulty level. Some levels are puzzles, but others will require fighting to obtain the artifact in question.
I have quite a lot of work put into this! Go to this page to get the more recent updates when they are first published: http://www.omnimaga.org/ti-z80-calculator-projects/(to-be-named)-dungeon-crawlercollection-game/

Please look at the last date of the thread. This is almost 3 years old. Also, just because it's restricted doesn't mean that it doesn't work (Not that I would ever expect a link which is 3 years old to work anymore, cause files are sometimes removed)

Thanks Electromagnet!
Many updates past, I'm now in 0.7.5, have a site where I keep track of updates/history of this game, 4 maps, a storyline added, bugs fixed, and sluggish code optimized.

Aw, it was nothing. I actually stole borrowed that from the page Electromagnet8 talks about below.

And I'll check out the newer version.

EDIT: Some special color commands like TextColor() and all that biz might prove problematic. So, yes, the only cross-compatible solution would be homescreen graphics. Sorry. :/

As for creating cross compatible programs that run on both monochrome and color versions of the calculators, you can refer to this link: www(dot)cemetech(dot)net/forum/viewtopic(dot)php?t=8921

Here's an example from one of my programs.
The original code is from here: tibasicdev(dot)wikidot(dot)com/text-wrapper
This is at the beginning of my program.

Xmin+|E2DeltaX<Xmax->|N

ClrDraw DispGraph DelVar RDelVar CFor(I,1,length(Str1 If C<(91+165|N) and "^^o"!=sub(Str1,I,1 Then If " "!=sub(Str1,I,1 Text(R,C,sub(Str1,I,1 C+6+3|N->C If I<length(Str1)-1:Ans-2(" "!=sub(Str1,I,1->C Else DelVar C R+6+6|N->R End C+4(C>(89+165|N->C I-(C>(89+165|N->I End

I am currently trying to create the maps. Thanks to an amazing suggestion by Josiah W on the omnimaga forums, I can create it on the Homescreen, and keep compatibility bewteen the two calculator models ^_^
Edit: Changed the title screen a little bit. Some issues that I had with this ate up a lot of time, so I may not get it done right away.
