No, that's true. In fact the z80 calculators are quite limited compared to the 68K.
But I never learnt TI-Basic for the z80 and used my knowledge of 68K basic to be able to program in AXE on the Z80.

I know a bit. :P
I must admit that my brother taught me a lot, but the manual included with the TI-89 can be a great help too. It features all the commands, frequently with an example included. Also it may be a help to download some TI-Basic files on your calc, and look at the source. Then you can change some things and see what that does.

Do you own a 68K calc? (By the way, 68K refers to the processor— a 68000 Motorola processor). Exampels of these calcs are the 89 and 92. If you have one of these, I suggest checking out the manual that TI provides as it is actually a great, well documented source of information. The syntax is similar to that of the 83+/84+ BASIC in some ways, but you will need to close parentheses, brackets, and anything else, and you will need to use proper End statements (like EndIf, EndWhile, EndFor). It is a much more powerful version of BASIC.
