The reason why karma rules are set in place is to prevent and discourage spam users/bots. Sort of like an extended verification to make sure you're not a bot (because some bots can get past the security measures in place).

Hello! I will let the others post the links about the rules and starter kit, but nice to see you here! I am still working on optimizing that baker's program, but midterms have gotten in the way, but I will be able to get back to it soon!

don't worry, the first level of karma come very naturally, you'll be able to have links in no time!

I've been posting in the other forums for a while now and I thought it was probably time to introduce myself.
I am MachineKeen!
Thank you to all of the people who have answered my questions or helped me optimize my programs.
Does anyone think it's weird that you need to break a certain threshold of karma just to post links in the forum?
It's a bit of a nightmare if I just want to share a screen capture of one of my programs, but I understand it's probably to reduce spam.

Anyways I look forward to interacting with you all.
