Nice! I'm pretty much breezing through the Visual Basic course, and next year I definitely plan to take the Java course. My school offers two, but both are one year each, so I need to take one before the other =(

Those are all good programming languages, but I personally enjoy Java most; I even got certified :D

Well, I'm really just taking these classes because I have to. I know more Visual Basic than what they're teaching me in school, so far, and they also offer classes for Java, which I will need if I get into languages like C++. My school also offers Web Development courses, but I am learning SO much more online than my friend who takes it. I enjoy programming on the computer more because, though the claculator is portable and easy, coomputer programs are far more advanced. (Read the first line of my signature. (I'm not doing it alone haha.))

Also, if I understand correctly, Python is similar to C++, right?

Hello! You sound intense with your courses. I never have been a language person, just a number person. I have been dabbling with Python when I am bored, but, otherwise, computers are foreign ground to me.

Oh yeah, welcome to TIBD. So yeah… Have a waffle (>^_^)>#

Good morrow, fellow humans!

I guess that since this is my introduction to me (albeit three months from my joining wikidot, and one and a half months from joining TIBD) I should tell a bit about myself. I am currently a high school student in Pennsylvania, USA. My current courses are Honors Chemistry, Honors Algebra II & Trig, AP World History, German IV, Honors English, and Programming (for Visual Basic.) However the only classes that I really enjoy are German and programming.

My favorite type of music to listen to is metal, but that includes all of its ubgenres. My current favorite bands are As You Drown, Trigger the Bloodshed, and Asking Alexandria. My favorite movies are pretty much anything with Will Smith or Bruce Willis. My favorite video games are Halo: Reach, Army of Two, and Left 4 Dead 2. My favorite TV shows are Nikita, Doctor Who, Caprica, The Walking Dead, The Defenders, and Eureka.

For programming languages, I currently only know Visual Basic, but I will be learning Java next year. For web development, I know HTML, CSS, XML, and JavaScript. I also have a website that I am working on that will help people to learn these four browser languages, called HTML Development (see below). I would also like to learn C#, C++, and maybe Python.

So yeah… That's all about me! I also have a YouTube account, XBox LIVE account, and AIM account, all with the username BlakPilar, so feel free to talk to me or whatever!

http://htmldev.webs.com
