Try adding a scrollbar to aid viewing.
I would also use a list system which uses a number system to determine which character is in each spot in that line. For instance, Lline001 represents the first line, and it would be {0,0,…0} by default (all spaces). Then the user will input a character which is read and interpreted as a number through a getkey.

Just a suggestion, if you use a computer with ti connect CE (the original may have this too, i don't use it), you can copy the program from your computer, then open it in the program editor, then copy and paste it into your post.
