The reason for the dispute on that is that a single " causes there to
be a blank line at the top of the program.

Sorry the hard return, IE on the school comps wouldn't let me see
what I was writing.

You actually don't even need an Output(. Just put a quotation mark " at the end. i.e.

:Disp 5 :"

well, i put an Output(1,15," ") to mask the Done.

Three things one try to get in the habit of not using lbls it will help you later two use return over stop otherwise you can't use it in other programs and finally if you don't want a space at the end use output(1,1,"

The quote will remove the done.

wait, so should i put Disp " before the stop…? then done appears on the second line.

Also you don't need a stop at the end of your program.

There is information on removing the annoying "Done" message here.

Essentially, you just need to display text before the "Stop" command.

i am 2Tie, a *young* programmer who is continuously working away on his Awin Program. as of right now, (BTW, thanks to all who replied to my memory problem,) i have one question: i my program, my "exiting" script goes like this:

Lbl EX AxesOn ClrDraw ClrHome Stop

and then code after it, in labels so te rest of my program can get to it.
how do i get Done out? i tried the AsmProg thing, only i am confused where to put it. As for the :" thing, i am confused again. what and where would i put something?
