Hi im tanithan and I have been coding Ti-83 basic for YEARS now. I am quite fluent with the language and I can write practically any program. Im just now getting into 68k because I picked up a TI-92 and I want to be able to know what I'm doing. Im well aware that there is a page for 83 developers but it would be great for the site to actually do its job and add lessons and steps to make learning 68k more manageable rather than expecting me to be fluent after reading 6 million paragraphs on one page. The internet has literally NO information on the ti-92 and coding on it. Please for the love of god help out this tiny community it would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I noticed that when I was working on the E command. There are some differences between the languages still, for example, some error messages from z80 wouldn't apply in 68k, so you still have to look over the site to make sure it works for 68k. But yeah, for quite a few of the commands you could almost just copy and paste the information from the z80 commands.

Assembly. Even for 68k. There are no commands in the TI-Basic index that includes greyscale support.

BUT, you can make your own greyscale in TI-Basic. Repeatedly flicker pixels on and off

I’ve read on the calculator page for 68k that the calculators are capable of greyscale. It appears be true based on some games I’ve seen for the 68k calculators but when I looked at the completed graphics commands on the command index, I didn’t see any reference to an argument for greyscale. I had expected it to look something like pxlon(x,y,z) where z is the greyscale level. Is this only possible in assembly or can I utilize greyscale through ti basic?

Some TI-83 Basic commands are generally the same in 68k Basic. fPart( serves the same purpose as the one in 68k.

I’ve been using this website ever since I got my ti83+ too, and now that I’m experienced with that, I’m moving to 68k. My 68k voyage 200 should be coming in the mail soon. I’d love to help out and make a contribution. I just need some time to get a hang of the new language. Like you, I’ve found it to be very unfortunate that there is a lack of information on possibly the most powerful language of all Ti calculators.

Hello to all! This site has been a blessing to me ever since I got my first TI-83+ calculator. About a year ago, I got a TI-92+, and the first thing I did was go onto this site to learn what everything does. To my dismay, more than half of the commands listed in the 68k command index lack any form of documentation! So now, a year later, I'm coming back to this site, and things haven't changed much. TiB68k is a beautiful language, and it's a shame that newer programmers have to guess and check how everything works all by themselves. So, I'm setting out to create a page for every command that needs one. This would be an extremely tedious task if I were to do it alone, so I'm starting this thread to (hopefully) get people to help out and start filling in what they know. Every command in the TI-83 Basic command index has documentation, so it's generally not all that hard to create a new page for 68k because most of the commands have similar uses to their z80 counterparts. I have already created the page for the E command, and I'm working on the fPart command now. All the commands listed in red are unfinished. For anyone willing to help, I cannot thank you enough!

You can use setGraph(), specifically:

setGraph("Axes","OFF")

I'd like to turn off the axes in the graph screen programmatically.

On the TI-84 it's a simple

It's unfortunate that it won't work with 89p files. 89p is mentioned on his website so I thought it would work.

The other website you mentioned cannot, unfortunately, convert 89p files.
TIEdit works fine now, so I stick to that.

By coincidence i found the solution.
at website pengels. bplaced. net / index . php / tiedit
omit spaces.
The program TIEdit has "Tokens89" that recognizes TI-89 files.
I can now edit print and a lot more (not tryed everything).
Other program that i tryed only know Ti-83 Ti-84 files.
So problem solved with the program that i needed.

The problem is, I have, for example, a file abc.89p on the Windows10 computer.
Before I can copy the code, I have to open the file.
How to manage that? Which Windows10 program can open a TI abc.89p file?

Copy the code and paste it in a blank document

If you have Microsoft Word:
[Ctrl]+[P] and select destination printer

If you have Google Docs:
Click the printer icon and select destination printer

How can you list a basic program from a TI-89 titanium on paper.
I have TI connect on my Windows10 computer.
So program copied on the harddisk, but how to print this on paper?

Two tips

1) the Func and EndFunc tokens are unnecessary and even allow the CAS to work with them better if they are gone.
2) Don't use any statement. My function to do log to any base is just as follows
