We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope. |

What the community thinks:
Of course, the only thing it's lacking is what you already said it's lack: AI and win checking.
I would like to see this as a finished product, as I'm currently making a Connect Four program of my own to rival yours, which will be complete with it's own AI. Right now I'm working on a win checking algorithm, but I've found it isn't quite the easiest concept to program, but that's really only because this would be the first time I've had to make such a win-check algorithm. Almost every other one of my puzzles uses a counter until the map is full (the only exception being a maze puzzle with an exit) but I'm sure it'll turn out nicely.
I hope to see this finished, otherwise it'll be too easy a win.
hi! i hav been working on a connect 4 program for a while and just found this competition. i see that not many hav entered, and hope that you finish your program so that mine can play yours! i finished the win checking program a while ago. it was tricky, but i got it. ill post my current program so u can see it. btdubs i thought connect 4 had a 6x7 board? anyway, good luck!
Sorry to point it out, but I'm not sure Mufin ventures outside the boundaries of Cemetech much anymore. This topic is around a year old, so that's a definite possibility. Anyway, welcome to TI|BD!
