We're glad you came by, but you might find what you're looking for elsewhere. TI-Basic Developer is not the site it once was. While its information on commands and other calculator features remains almost second-to-none, its forum, archives, and even hosting service, Wikidot, have been decaying for years. The calculator community would love to see what you're working on, or help you in your next coding adventure, but TI-Basic Developer is no longer the place to do it. Instead, you should head over to Cemetech (primarily American) or TI-Planet (primarily international). Both are active, well-established forums with their own archives, chatrooms, reference material, and abundant coding tools and resources. We'll see you there, we hope. |

Have you ever wanted to get some of those pretty nifty ASCII characters, such as the arrows, or subscript numbers? Well with this program, you can! I recommend just sending this to your archive and running it with a shell (such as MirageOS) so that it does not get deleted, as the program stores its awesome characters into Str7! |

Alright. I believe everything is in order. There was no documentation, as everything is pretty self explanatory, or you can just read the description. Let me know if anything is wrong.

It won't let me send it to my calc. It says the variable type isn't compatible with my OS

Hmm… That's probably because I use OS 2.53MP and I guess there's no back compatability. I've uploaded a newer version, which, ironically, actually added three characters and drastically reduced the size for this type of program. (From 282 to 169.)

Hey, it worked! Now I see what you mean… Cool :D

Does it work with the CE?
This may be a noob question, but I'm missing a few characters, such as 4 (Hex: 24) and )) (Hex: DE) I've been trying for hours, but haven't been able to get them onto my calculator.
