What the community thinks:
Hi my name is Viktor and this is my first TI-basic game.
What else to start out with then the all-time classic pong.
I tried to keep the game interesting over time and keep the gameplay smooth and fast.
This is my very first game and I'm only 15 yet so please could anyone give me some tips/advice both specific to improve this program and on TI-basic in general.
Cheers!

I personally don't like games that do too much archiving because flash life is limited (even if that limit won't be exceeded in the next decade XD). Otherwise, a tip is to use SetUpEditor because it will automatically create a list if it doesn't exist and if it is archived, it unarchives it. You can then create the entries by doing something like 10→dim(LPH to make it have 10 elements. I could not send the list to my calculator, so when I ran the program, it gave me an error. I also had to unlock the program to figure out what the problem was. I basically removed the first line, created the list on calc that was 5 elements (but I think you only use 1 element?)and it worked pretty snazzily. I really like the intro, I must say! Also, if you want a highscore list of N elements (for example, 5 elements), you can do this where S is the score:
That complicated piece of code is something I just came up with, by the way o_O For a size optimisation, you could just do:
Z80 Assembly>English>TI-BASIC>Python>French>C>0
Thanks a lot for the help!
I don't need my highscore to be a list actually just one highscore per calc is good, but I didn't want too use a variable because then you would lose your highscore whenever another program used the var.
I also made it archive it automatically because me and my classmates have to reset our calcs ram everytime we have test (yeah, only ram, they're stupid at my school) and I initially made the game for them.
So when I use SetUpEditor I can make my list only IF it's not there yet?
Deffo gonna look into this more, any other issues/tips on the rest of the game?
This community seems rather friendly too noobs like me so far, I appreciate that!
Cheers!

Hehe, yep, SetUpEditor is one of the best list commands in my opinion, it is too bad it only works on lists. SetUpEditor does two things:
It's pretty fantastic, in my opinion.
I didn't find any bugs to report, but I did like the animation and it runs at a good speed.
Z80 Assembly>English>TI-BASIC>Python>French>C>0
Ok put 'SetupEditor PH' before the first line and deleted the list from the package, won't update the files just yet I'll do that when some more things are updated.

Viktor, your point aboutthis community being new people friendly is one of the reasons why I stick around :) cemetech is also a great calculator forum, and they'll be okay with "noobs" but they are a little more elite in my opinion. They want things done a certain way which is fine really :) They're always happy to answer any questions you might have and can think of some pretty ingenius optimizations :D
That's awesome :D

Updated the file: v2.5.1
You no longer have to transfer a list to install the program.

How do you type that indent on the calculator? I am not able to download it so I am trying to type it but I don't know how to type that indent. Please Help!
There are no indents. It's just how the editor is.
